In the spotlight

In this issue we focus on a feature instead of a site. Recently we have developed a great looking slideshow, that is proving to become more and more popular with our clients. The slideshow is Flash based, and we can offer a fall back on a single image.

The client can add images to the slideshow by simply uploading them to a gallery.

New on VisitAruba

As of May 5th 2009, VisitAruba.com is now on Facebook with a dedicated page. Still in its Facebook infancy we hope to push this a bit more as we go. Please note that our RSS news feeds of Aruba news (including articles you submit to us) are also capable of being distributed on this platform. Another good reason to send us your news updates!

We'd like to remind everyone again of our "Aruba Deals & Specials" page. This is our recession stimulus package. As a VisitAruba.com client you are entitled to have your specials listed there FREE of charge. We can also combine it with a news release on VisitAruba News, to boost your Aruba deal's visibility.

If you have newsworthy articles about your (tourism) business, feel free to send us pictures and text, and we will be happy to give you some extra exposure on the news section of VisitAruba.com. This is a free service for all clients of VisitAruba.

A Tourist's Experience

Our limo picked us up at 5:30 am for an 8:00 USAir flight. Too funny when they pulled up in a stretch Expedition that took up almost our entire driveway! The driver asked how many we had - just the two of us! We checked in - upgraded to First Class for $150 (worth every penny in my opinion) and made our way over to the duty-free shop to purchase our alcohol for the trip since we haven't seen the liquor kiosk in Aruba for a couple of years now.
