Paradera Park Apartments has been a successful business for years, and earned several TripAdvisor awards in the past. Now CaribMedia has revamped the site.
Not only does the site now support incredible imagery, courtesy of the professional photography taken for Paradera Park Apartments, but it has all the usual improvements we do for every redesign:
- better support for web standards
- with this, better Search Engine Optimization
- better anti-spam measures
- formatted form emails
- quicker updates
- more reliability and future proofing, removing dependency on older FrontPage technology
Paradera Park Apartments has taken the slideshow we recently presented to clients to an extreme, placing a different slide show on each page of the site.
New technologies that were developed for the site:
- An embedded gallery view, that does not use iframes. Using iframes has always been troublesome since it can lead to an unexpected and unnecessary scroll bar to show
- A configurable slide show that can vary per page
- SqueezeBox content and Slimbox images. These slick animated popups are very popular nowadays and a big improvement over regular pop up windows, which are sometimes blocked by browsers.
- Web fonts. Traditionally only some fonts were allowed in web pages. Now most modern browsers support any font. This is a major breakthrough, and will be seen a lot more in our websites.
