  • On the main page,we've added large "call to action" buttons to boost reservations and review submissions by visitors.
  • The "Special Deals" link was moved to the top left of the home page, for more visibility.
  • Restaurant reviews are now shown on the top right hand side of the home page.
  • Each Restaurant listing page now has a big, clear "Reserve" button to encourage reservations. This is applicable to paid listings.
  • As mentioned above we are implementing additional video content for all restaurants who are interested.

Facts and Figures

The one story that continues to stand out is that of Facebook. Ever since it opened registration to the general public back in the fall of 2006, Facebook has seen considerable growth, so it’s not like this story is new by any stretch of the imagination.

And yet, even in its native market, Facebook continues to add to its audience at an incredible rate. In the past year alone, Facebook more than doubled its U.S. audience from 54.5 million visitors in December 2008 to 111.9 million visitors in December 2009. It went from being the #11 ranked property to the #4 ranked property. It now accounts for 7% of all time spent online in the U.S. (Source: ComScore)

Did you know?

SPAM, SPAM and more SPAM - it just gets worse every day as spammers get more sophisticated. Sometimes you send out an email and get a response that your email has been blocked by a system called Barracuda which is essentially an antispam system that blocks blacklisted IP addresses, however sometimes this even happens silently so that you never even know that your email is not being delivered!! We have been looking into this and we can offer a system that will resolve these problems for emails, and you will be able to use your own domain name for example name@domainname.com. This system will work with your desktop email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Entourage, or any other POP/IMAP client. Also download your emails directly to your BlackBerry, iPhone, or other mobile device. Prices start at just Awg. 5 per month per 10GB mailbox (more space than Gmail). For more information send an e-mail to support@caribmedia.com

A Tourist's Experience

Our thanks go out to the innkeepers of Paradera Park Apts. Debby and Hank went out of their way to make our stay most enjoyable! They shared with us valuable information about our stay in Aruba and provided us with complimentary beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler which we used at a variety of beaches including our favourite, Manchebo Beach.
