Technical Support Representative - Technical details:
Job summary:
- Create and manage users on Linux, FreeBSD and Windows operating systems
- Setup and manage email accounts
- Install and configure server applications on Linux and FreeBSD
- Provide technical support to Clients (email issues, server issues)
- Deploy websites
- Test and debug websites
- Programming
Desirable skill set:
- Able to install and manage Linux & FreeBSD server operating systems and Windows/Linux clients
- Able to install and manage Apache, Tomcat, Mod_jk, FTP Server, SpamAssassin, ClamAV, Sendmail
- Strong technical aptitude
Working knowledge of any of the following would be a significant advantage:
- Java (Servlets, Struts)
- PHP
- Javascript
- (X)HTML and CSS
- CMS usage
- Adobe Photoshop
- Anti-spam techniques
- MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle databases
